Design Team Video: Halloween Treat Bags

Posted by Sarah Crankshaw on

I started off using an A4 sheet of pumpkin card stock witch is a light weight card at 125gsm making it perfect for this project. I cut it down to 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 so that you could get two out of each A4 sheet. I then scored it on the longest side first at 1 1/2 inches , 3 1/2 inches , 5 inches and 7 inches. I removed the very small square cross over section as you see in the video. Next I stamped my design on the card in a Halloween theme.

Next I glued the half inch section together with the front side of the bag , this can be seen more clearly in the video. I then folded the bottom ends in and glued them creating the bottom of the bag. I stood the bag up and held both sides , I pinched them together but pushed the sides inwards with my finger as I did closing the bag together. I then folded over the top. I took a large paper clip and two of the skull buttons from the store and created a paperclip closure and there you have it ! A little Halloween treat bag 🎃 just another 30 to go

There is a list of items used below:

Pumpkin Card Stock

Large Paper Clips

Wooden Skull Buttons
